This will allow you in the future to control your module easily and safely with your smartphone without complicated key combinations. When required, the module can be deactivated without having to remove it. The SKF Speed App has helpful features and provides useful information. For the mode that alters the mileage entirely, we allow a deviation of up to 1% of the driven distance. Provided details about stopped mileage are only approximations, and there might be such minor differences.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENT

Our Mileage Blocker not only stops counting covered distance in all memories of a vehicle but also automatically corrects the service. The only part which isn’t stopped while using the tool is „Service“. It is still counted down but does not record any mileage until 30% is remaining. If there remains 30% before the due date, it automatically jumps back up to 90%. If it’s pushed back up to 90% from 30%, before a message was sent, then that service reset is not recorded.

Each service is counted down from the traveled distance time. The service interval for a vehicle is structured like this. As a rule, a service must be made in every 30,000 km for diesel and 15,000 for petrol. The service is counted down while driving. If you drove 1,000 km then the next service would be in 29,000 km. If you stop mileage, then the service shouldn’t count down, but it still continues working until it reaches 30%. In the case of 30,000km, remained 30% is equal to 9,000 km.

When the kilometer stopper is active, it automatically pushes the service back up to 90%, so to 27,000km. Above mentioned numbers are not 100% correct, because many engines have different service intervals, but the percentages are correct.

ACTIVATION & DEACTIVATION

Change modes via smartphone app or press the BC button for 10 seconds

Repeat the process to switch from mode to mode

All percentages of the distance driven are approximate and not binding because they are influenced by the environment ( city/ traffic jam/ highway). And only after a longer distance of approx. 100 km / mi can you see what percentage was actually counted.

The module is always pre-activated in MODE 1 / ON

Mode 1
1. Vehicle till 2019 and without update and the live cockpit: Speed display works and the Mileage counting is stopped. 1. Vehicle: Speed = original, Counting miles approx 0-1%. Works only with models until 2019, without Update and the Live Cockpit.

2. Vehicle from 2019 or with update and the live cockpit: Counts after approx. 3 km of driving. Counts 100 % !!! 2. Vehicle: To change the mode, switch off the car. The speedometer should be off / black. (Open the door) choose right Mode for your car. The indicator: Turn light x1 flashes only inside the vehicle

Mode 2
No speed and the mileage counting is stopped for all vehicles

Speed = 3 mp/h, miles counting approx. 0-1%. Works absolutely on all vehicles. The indicator: Turn light x2 flashes only inside the vehicle

Mode 3
Speed display works and the miles count is reduced to 30%.

Interval count: stop 1 minute, count 15 seconds, repeat. 30 % is a guide value. The driving environment determines the count. Works independently of software updates for all vehicles until 2023. The indicator: Turn light x3 flashes only inside the vehicle

Mode 4
Speed display works and the miles count is reduced to 40%.

Interval count: stop 50 sec, count 20 seconds, repeat. 40 % is a guide value. The driving environment determines the count. Works independently of software updates for all vehicles until 2023. The indicator: Turn light x4 flashes only inside the vehicle

Mode 5
The kilometers are counted at 100%

The module is deactivated, the speedometer and the odometer work as usual.

BMW 4er F32/F33/F36/F82/F83 Kilometer Stopper tool always maintains the last applied settings. Hence, you don’t have to change the settings before starting a car next time.

The device can be activated or deactivated, either while in motion (only for certain vehicles) or when stationary.

FAQ

The Mileage Blocker unconditionally removes the mileage. The mileage figures will remain unchanged even after removing the module from the car. You can use our Mileage Blocker to alter the mileage and remove it anytime. Stopped mileage will not increase spontaneously after removing the module. However, in most cases, error messages should be deleted after removing the tool. Can Communications save any interruption messages as error messages. These are sporadic errors that do not necessarily have to be deleted, but it is recommended.

Bought for a BMW 440i 2016 the fitting involved removing 2 star screws & pulling the dials out. The Unit was reasonably easy to fit. I had to guess which way round the male connector went as there were no instructions & the wire colours didn’t help. No worries, the dials were dark so swapped it round and bingo!
Road testing gave me all functions including adaptive cruise & speedo, just no mileometer or trip. Cycling between the various modes was easy with a sustained press of the BC button on the left stork.
Whether you’re comfortable running you car with one of these is a personal view, but I can say they work brilliantly!
